Great Value for the Price

This auger delivers excellent value for the money. It comes with both the battery and charger, which is rare at this price point. The build quality feels solid, and I like the quiet operation compared to my old gas trimmer. Highly recommend for homeowners looking for an efficient, eco-friendly upgrade.

Low Maintenance and Quiet Operation

Since it's electric, there’s no need for messy fuel mixing or regular engine maintenance. It also runs much quieter than gas augers, which is great for early morning or suburban use. I appreciate the low noise and zero emissions during operation.

Mowing 3 acres in Florida

This is my favorite lawn mower ever. It stopped working after a year, due to an electrical problem. It wasn't easy to work with customer service at first to obtain our warranty replacement, but I was finally able to get through to the right person, and he made sure I got my mower. He was extremely kind and helpful I use it to mow our 3 acres. It's great exercise and no gas smells!

Awesome

plenty of torque and a safety when it does hit rocks and gets in a bind, works great!

Great Value for the Price

Considering its performance, build quality, and battery life, the Wild Badger 40V Earth Auger offers excellent value. It feels durable and comes with everything needed to get started right away. I highly recommend it for gardening, landscaping, or installing posts and trees.

Good value, works well.

I have used once in southern US clay soil. It works well and met my expectations for the price paid. Note you will have to stop periodicallyto remove the dirt with a post digger tool ( or equivalent) also you will need to manually remove rocks or roots if you encounter them. Note the Auger does not have a kickback detector so brace yourself for eventual kickback. I only used the slow speed so it was not too bad. The handles are a bit oversized so the ycan hit you in the leg on kickback . I padded the left side metal bar with some foam and duct tape. Improvement would be to make smaller radius handles and include some padding. Also digging down at about 20in gets uncomfortable as you are low to the ground. Not sure if there is an extension available for the bit, but it would good to include one as an enhancement. Probably as is max you can get is 20-24 in. , but I couldn't bare going lower than 20.

Battery Life is Solid

The 2.0Ah battery lasts longer than I expected — I was able to trim the entire front and backyard on a single charge. Charging is also pretty quick, which is a big plus. For a battery-powered tool, this delivers great performance and saves the hassle of gas or cords.

I picked this auger up for Ice Fishing.

I picked this auger up for Ice Fishing. I did assemble and test it here at the house in dirt and here is what I experienced. It was easy to assemble, starting instructions were just like any other gas-powered item I have used. This auger started right up and purred without adjusting anything. We have mostly clay soil; some is a sandy clay. So, I bought this for Ice Fishing, I have a auger for my tractors PTO and would not trade it for anything. Well, my mom's deck needed to be removed and replaced. There was no way to get the tractor in there, so I put this auger to use. It did pretty good in the sandy clay, but the regular clay was a challenge. I dug the start of each hole with manual post hole diggers about 4" deep. I then filled them with water. Overnight the water soaked down and softened the clay where I was able to drill the holes in what was the harder clay. This is a good auger, but if you have a lot of large roots or super hard ground this may not be enough auger for you. For Ice Fishing it will be perfect for me. I am happy and I would buy again.

So much better than gas powered options.

I was hesitant to get this but love it. I was originally wanting a larger auger diameter but the one that came with it is fine for post holes. I can widen the hole after or get another auger width if I need it. The auger does the hard part and can work very quickly depending on what rocks or roots are in the ground.

Work Quite Well. YouTube videos I watched about it are pretty accurate.
